Wednesday Photograph: Tree of Light…

You are the light of the world...”  (Matthew 5:14)

Last week when downloading recent cherry blossom pics from the camera card, i found this completely forgotten pic from a dark & stormy (& COLD) winter night’s outing.  As the storm clouds swirl around, the lights continue to twinkle… (barely in some places, which is how i feel sometimes: operating at a Very Low Twinkle Wattage.)

It’s Lent…

“Maybe you have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light.”  Madeleine L’Engle (from “A Ring of Endless Light”)

grace, peace & (brighter) Twinkle Wattage

Virginia : )

p.s. for a real treat, if you’re into trees (i most definitely am so. very. into. Trees!)  check out Uncle Tree’s recent post – the picture & quote are a quick view but the kind of thing i’ve been back (& back) to contemplate, meditate… absorb (whatever!)

Definitely thought provoking ART…

Thank you, Miss Gwen – my Twinkle Batteries need a bit of umph (they’re a bit low at the moment…) Do you have some to spare? : ) LOTS of grace, peace & Twinkles

You be the light of The World, Virginia,
and I’ll be the salt of The Earth.
‘Tis a pretty winter pic. 🙂
I like the looks of the tree lit up.
And I thank you for that lovely promo!

    • Virginia says:

Thank you, Uncle Tree – methinks i’m better at Salt (sometimes it stings, ya know?) but i will ask for a Bit More Wattage from the Heavenly Son on the ‘be the Light’ front.

Glad you like the pic – it’s a TREE : ) grace, peace & Salty Light

Great pic and quote, Ginny! Bloom forward to checking out the link when I have more time. 🙂

Thanks Cindy – be sure to check out the link, it’s really cool & will only take a few secs! i’m reading 2 books by Madeleine L’Engle right now – she wrote great fiction but also ‘make-you-think’ spiritual stuff, too. grace, peace & Blooming Forward (like that expression, may steal it for a Blog, sis! : )
