SNAPSHOTS:
Zooming out this morning for a week away (yaaay!) but here’s a thought to munch on this week as things truly are whacked out in our insane world and country. Once again my heart and prayers go out to the people of Texas after yesterday’s horrific mass shooting in a Baptist Church.
When will this insane violence stop?

Such beautiful pictures. A reminder that in the midst of trials and tribulations there’s still always something to be appreciative of.
Amen! My father (a bedfast quadriplegic in pain 24/7) began his days by thanking God for his blessings before lifting up his (considerable) challenges. He said his blessings outweighed all the rest – because he started his days in gratitude. A lesson I learned from him, but keep having to re-learn! β¨πβ¨π·β¨πβ¨
How beautiful!
Wherever you’re headed, V, hope you have tons of moments of appreciation. Nothing’s better than great fall colors photos. Thanks.
God’s heavenly paintbrushes have been busy around us – trees this week are glorious! My brother & I are enjoying birds, nature & ocean views up in Chincoteague Island on Virginia’s Eastern Shore (near the MD border.) Plus there’s a NASA rocket launch scheduled Saturday morning from Wallop’s Island – we are excited!! ππβ±ππ
The beauty of your photos belie the ugliness that was Texas yesterday.
Such horrific ugliness – but my hope is that love IS stronger than hate & that beauty will shine in dark places through courageous acts of compassionate comfort & peace. Much love, Bernadette. β¨ππ€πβ¨
Love these beautiful photos, Virginia — safe travels to you!
Thanks, Debbie. I enjoyed your views of fall splendor near you. We’re catching beautiful colors up here in Chincoteague on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Clouds, wind & cold – shows off the colors more gloriously! π¨ππβ±πππ¨
Love, love those colorful trees. I want to ask,”what is happening to the world?”
We are all asking that, Arlene. What is happening … and how can we be & bring God’s compassionate comfort & love to hurting hearts in our world? Much love! β¨πππβ¨
