#Lent : Hoping, Loving, Believing

 “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:44)

“Here is the basic secret, hidden in God’s whole plan for humanity:

To believe in the possibility of the impossible;

To hope in things against all hope;

To love what does not seem lovable…

Can you believe? Can you hope? Can you love?”

      Thank you, Patty. I like that one, too. If you haven’t read Carlo Carretto’s “Blessed Are You Who Believed,” as a Mary groupie I think you would really appreciate that one, too. Blessings & hugs! 🌟🌹🤗🌹🌟

        It’s a great one of his, Patty. I have several Carlo Carretto books, but found this one while on an 8-day Ignatian silent retreat – whereupon I wrote out whole passages in my journal! Blessings & hugs! 🌟✨📚✨🌟
