Sometimes it’s hard to manage our forward momentum when so much out there is out to drag us down (or so it seems.) Here’s a quickie quote of encouragement for all of us today from Dr. Seuss..
“When the world says, “Give up,” Hope whispers, “Try one more time.” You have more potential than you believe you do.” Dr. Seuss
Here’s to not giving up despite whatever the world throws at us!
grace, peace & perseverance
Virginia : )
“Unless someone like you cares an awful whole lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” Dr. Seuss
Hey Virginia, how are you? All well I hope, and gently warming in the early spring sunshine to bloom anew.
Loved the photo! Our ‘size’, our potential, (the elongated shadow) is all a matter of perception. It just depends on how the light shines down upon us.
The indomitable human spirit – our intellect, emotions, fears, courage, passions, insights, understanding, and creativity – these are what truly connect us to the Universe, to each other, and to the heart of ourselves. One wonders where human-kind would be without such forces in our nature lifting us from concern and adversity, to drive us ever onward: to be all we are. No matter how small a contribution, we all have something unique to offer the world.
Enjoy a wonderful week Virginia. Take care,
DN
Thank you, missed your blogs..remember you are God’s 🦪 pearl
Thank you, Carol-Jo. Still trying to juggle lots with low energy! If I am God’s pearl, you are God’s Diamond!! Hugs !
Dr. Seuss had a lot of wisdom, didn’t he? Great quotes, Virginia. Hope you’re doing okay — warm hugs from snowy Central Illinois!
Warm hugs back to you, Debbie. It’s been crazy weather here — yesterday 72 & today snow is in the forecast! Hope you are keeping well. I’m sorta kinda okay – still struggling with low energy, so work goals have taken priority over the blogosphere! Have missed catching up with everyone, but hope next weekend to carve out more time. My Papa always said that the Good Book said, “it came to pass” — not it came to stay (ie, this too shall pass!) Blessings & more hugs — Virginia
