Beauty & a Lenten Friday quote (from Ralph Waldo Emerson)

“Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything that is beautiful; for beauty is God’s handwriting – a wayside sacrament. Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky, in every fair flower, and thank God for it as a cup of blessing.”   Ralph Waldo Emerson

  2. Virginia says:

Yep – that’s the Japanese cherry tree in front of the house (Tues morning in the Fog & then Weds morning in the Sunshine : ) now with the rain the blossoms are All Over the Place!) I really like this quote, keep going over it & driving around town with the Gorgeous Flowers out – beauty surrounds us. … a ‘wayside sacrament’ — love it! – Gin

  3. Uncle Tree says:

I love these pictures of beauties, Virginia.
My sister kin look pretty in pink, methinks.
Ralph’s opportunistic reasoning is in fashion
as the season presents herself reborn once again.

I got your bud. 😉 And I’ll see your fruit. All in time. Cheerz, Gin!
