Today we remember Our Lady of Guadalupe. Since roses are part of the story, i found this photo of a Rose growing not too far from Nazareth – a place where a young Mary might have walked along the shores of the Sea of Galilee..

Reminds me of the song, “I wonder as I wander”. I do wonder and marvel at her faith.
Mary’s faith is a wonder-pondering matter – not so many folks realize that she risked death with her ‘yes’ to the impossible (unmarried pregnant girls were stoned to death back then..) … yet, she believed & trusted & accepted God’s will for her life.
