Snapshots & Whatnot: Togetherness!!

On this Lenten Thursday here’s a thought: maybe we shouldn’t always try to go it alone?

Hanging out @ the Vancouver Aquarium

“Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:

If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up…

Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

“The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.” Audrey Hepburn

Here’s to helping each other out, reaching out as much as we can… & letting others hold us up when we can’t stand.

grace, peace & togetherness

  1. For some reason I haven’t been getting your posts in my reader lately. Sigh. I agree with you on this for sure! Hope you have a great day!

Hey Steve – these tropical birdies are right up your alley (but not the kind of birds to wander around your snowy surroundings!) Blessings & blogging hugs! ✨❄️✨🤗✨

So true! I love the picture. Have you read AA Milne’s (creator of Winnie The Pooh) poem ‘Us Two?’

    • Virginia says:

What a wonderful poem (just looked it up.) Totally fits! We recently saw the Christopher Robin movie (with Ewan MacGregor) that was out last summer. Precious story! Blessings! 🐾🤗🐾

It does fit! I first heard it when the priest read it at my brother’s wedding, and
I read it in turn at our daughter and son in law’s wedding reception!

Those both sound like precious opportunities (&memories) for the poem. Thanx for sharing! 🎈✨💜✨🎈
