Traipsing around Venice with friends on a cold November day (during an unforgettable trip to Italy) we took a boat out to the fishing island of Burano. On a dreary day this island lifted droopy spirits as everywhere we looked bright colors popped us. (Although how droopy can spirits be traipsing around Italy?)

How interesting that there’s so many colorful houses! It’s definitely not like that around here. I’ve only seen a few colorful homes and they amaze me every time I pass them. 🙂
These colorful houses definitely brightened a rainy day, Michelle. I’ve also seen bright colored homes in Austria & Slovenia. But even here in Williamsburg a bright blue or green (& one purple) house pops up every now & then. Weekend blessings!! 🌈🏠🌈
