Scarlett, an attitude of gratitude is a great way to start each day (even if we have to think a tick or two.) You are in good company – my bedfast quadriplegic papa started each day that way. He always said his blessings outweighed his challenges… Hugs! 🍂💜🍂🤗🍂
It’s good that I woke up to this in my feed…Monday Madness was setting in but I read this and remembered to say, “Thank You !!” My husband is an artist and he painted a picture almost exactly like the one on your post. Wonderful memories of a Canadian Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Chef Virginia at Fellowship House in Washington. I think the year was 1988. What fun it was !
Edie, I’ll never forget that dinner – the first time I baked a huge turkey on my own! (Called my mama with frantic ‘how to’ request so as not to botch it!) What lovely memories, Edie – miss you & love you (lots!) 💜🍂🤗💜🍂
