#Advent – Waiting and Wonder

On this Second Sunday of Advent, Virginia is contemplating waiting and wonder (being open to wonder while waiting for something?)

“Wonder is the beginning of wisdom.” Greek proverb

“Teach us to wait, as we hang in the balance of the past and the possible.” Thomas Merton

“All life is a gift, a gift to be celebrated, a gift to be shared.” Henri Nouwen

grace, peace & wonder-filled waiting

My granddaughter and I visited the Chihuly Museum in Seattle 3 years ago, and my mind is still
“blown away” by the overwhelming beauty of this one man’s creations! I wish I could share the 100 pictures of this unique place and art.

Edie, glad you had the chance to visit the Chihuly Museum in Seattle – can’t imagine seeing so many of his creations in one place!! Experiencing the Chihuly exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond remains one of my favorite there of all time! Completely mesmerizing what he can do in and through glass – so much beauty. Much love and big hugs to you! 🙂
