Although Virginia is a Trekkie, she has been an avid groupie of Star Wars since the first movie came out in 1977. Yes, she is that old to remember watching the first Star Wars film in the theater, enthralled with Luke Skywalker, Obi-wan Kenobi, Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-P30 and of course, Princess Leia. (Not to forget Darth Vader and his cronies…) Virginia remembers buying the sound track record, reading the books that eventually appeared, seeing the other films as they came out…

A group of us in college went to see the movie at a theatre that had 6 screens. We thought that was so many! We called it “One to Infinity.” To this day, I have no idea what the real name of the theatre was.
LoL, six screens seemed like a “Big” theater back in the day- of course after a year+ without seeing movies on big screen it will be great when we can have access to one. Live long & prosper, oops, wrong franchise – May the force be with you! 🚀🤣🚀
