Frankie is my niece Megan’s (very cute) doggie. Megan took this picture this morning while celebrating the 4th of July with my sister Shere and their family down in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
“Scatter joy!” Ralph Waldo Emerson
This year in the U.S. our July 4th celebration is spread out over two days (most everyone has off today.) Last night here in Williamsburg it was grand to see thousands of folks turn out for spectacular fireworks. Virginia was so busy enjoying everything (after a delectable ice cream social beforehand hosted by dear friend) that she completely forgot to take pictures!
So my niece Megan’s picture of Frankie will have to do!

So cute 😊
Thanks Susie!
Hello, your pet is so cute. What breed is she/he?
Happy 4th and Megan is just so pretty with a lovely bandana (I think it is a bandana or hmm a scarf?)
Thanks GH — I’m back from my blogcation catching up. Hope all is well with you! Hugs!
Off to Bates Motel today🙏🙏🙏
Get well & feel better GH! Hope you are out of Bates Hotel SOON! 💐✨🤗✨💐
Very cute … and appears to be well-behaved. I hope Frankie tolerated the fireworks better than poor Monkey.
Oh Debbie, hope Monkey didn’t get too rattled from fireworks. My niece’s dog, Frankie, seems to be very well behaved. My niece takes her with her all over the place! Hugs to you!
Precious! I am glad you all had a nice two day 4th of July!
Thank you Anne Marie, it was a fun two days. Was so good seeing so many folks turn out for the fireworks! Hope that you are doing well… (I’ve just returned to blogosphere after a 2 week blogcation. Looking forward to catching up. Hope things are going well for you!) — Cheers! Virginia
We are doing great! Glad you had fun. 🙄
