On this Advent Monday, here are tidings of comfort for our hearts and minds.
“For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans:38-39)
“Speak, Lord, for Thy servant heareth,
Speak peace to my anxious soul,
And help me to feel that all my ways
Are under Thy wise control;
That He who cares for the lily,
And heeds the sparrows’ fall,
Shall tenderly lead His loving child;
For He made and loveth all.”

Love that anonymous poem!!!
Debbie, that poem is from a favorite (very tattered) daily reader “Daily Strength for Daily Needs” (ed. Mary W. Tileston) that’s filled with short wisdom nuggets for each day. Blessings! 🌟📚🙏📚🌟
Thank you. In my opinion, you’ve succeeded in delivering tidings of comfort for hearts and minds. Every line of scripture and prose spread like a balm. Applause!!!
Sparkyjen – tidings of comfort are always welcome by me! This poem also reminded me of one of my favorite songs “His Eye is on the Sparrow.” …When Jesus is my portion, a constant help is He…” Blessings & hugs! 🌟🎶🤗🎶🌟
Oh yes. That is a wonderful song, and so true too. Blessings & hugs right back. Happy Holidays!
A wonderful poem and a great reminder which I needed for today! Thanks for sharing it.
Steve.

Tim, we can all use more tidings of comfort & peace in our whacked out world! Guess the challenge is to trust our worries to God (Who loves & cares for us all.) Hugs! 🌟🕊🌟
