On this Lenten Friday here’s a little balm for the brokenhearted…
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
(Psalm 34:18)
“The Sacred Heart of Jesus reveals Who God is. The Heart of Jesus calls us into a deeper relationship with God. The Heart of Jesus consoles us in our despair and inspires us in our faith. The Heart of Jesus invites us to share in the love of God that renews the face of the earth.” Michael C. Matthews, C.S.C.

What a beautiful garden … and what lovely thoughts to accompany it!!
Debbie, our church is still open for prayer, but only 10 people @ a time are allowed in our sanctuary (that usually holds 1,200.) I went there to pray last week & afterward enjoyed the peace of the prayer garden. I am a huge Sacred Heart of Jesus groupie, so had to take a few pics! Blessings & prayers! 🌟💜🌟
I’m grateful we get to watch Mass and Stations online. Our church, too, is open but sparingly like yours.
Debbie, our 3 priests have been creative hosting Facebook “chats” & ramping up a bigger digital presence. (Altho our older Msgr. referred all techie things to his younger nerdier colleagues since he still has a flip phone!) 🤣🙏🤣
So beautiful…hope.
Even on a gloomy day, Christ is our hope!! Hugs, Carol-Jo! 🌟🌸💜🌸🌟
This fed my soul-thank you Your devotions and praise make a difference.
Thank you for your encouragement, Michele. It means a great deal. If I had not set out to do this year’s Lenten post-a-day gig, don’t think I would be posting much these days. But, having to find something to say is making me pray – even more! Hugs & love 🌟💜🙏💜🌟
