Years ago my sister gifted me the classic book “Oh, The Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss. Filled with wisdom for 20-something Virginia stepping out in the wide world, the timeless insights of Dr. Seuss therein still resonate with a much older Virginia.
Here’s to stepping out today with dexterous courage and tact (Dr. Seuss style) as challenges continue to loom large in our lives and in our world…

What a great book! My son got one, too (I think upon graduation, but I’m not sure if it was high school or college). Love all these birdies!
Pulled the book out yesterday- it’s still uplifting all these years later! The ‘strange birds’ reference brought to mind a few spotted on various trips, but that Young heron wins a prize. They are not that common, as we found out @ the Toms Cove info center in Chincoteague… Hope you are keeping well, Debbie. Cheers! 👀🕊👀🕊
