THE SNAPSHOTS:

windy weather @ Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland

tide coming in @ Pemba Island (Tanzania)

…& WHATNOT

Here’s a quote for our minds to munch on after this week of terror, bombs & general craziness around the globe (& in our country.)

“Some day, after we have mastered the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, we will harness for God the energies of Love and then for the second time in the history of the world man will have discovered fire.”  Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Here’s to harnessing (& sharing) the energies of God’s love to all we encounter today, tomorrow, the next day… and the day after that.

grace, peace & sunrises (of love)

  1. What a difference it would make… I like the saying our minister closes the service with…. ‘May we see the face of Christ in everyone we meet.. . and may everyone we meet see the face of Christ in us…. Diane

    • Virginia says:

amen, Diane! Mother Teresa (one of my heroes) always said she saw the face of Christ in the poor (& poor in heart) she served in His love. I guess the challenge is to look for the face of Christ in others (& in ourselves – oi vey – sometimes that’s hard!)

Lots of grace, peace & effervescent love (of Christ!) Virginia

      • It surely is… but each time he says it, it makes me think .. and hope that I can maybe remember when I do look at someone or they look at me..(. ahh a bit wistful am I ) Diane
